feat(onset): a .git in every workspace for editors and tools Workspaces had no .git, so editor change markers, GitLens, git status/diff, gh and build tools that ask git what changed didn't work in them. Each project now has one git repository on the machine (objects shared by every workspace), and each workspace is one of its linked worktrees, checked out at the version its change started from: git shows the change's own edits, and git log reads as main's versions. Onset writes only git's index and HEAD, never the files, and the view follows the change's base in the background after get, new, switch, sync, land and undo; a second workspace's view is instant. git commit, push, merge and rebase are refused by hooks that name the on command that does it, so people and agents used to git find Onset's way. ONSET_GIT=0 or [workspace] git = false turns it off; without git, nothing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
