Issues

Report, discuss, triage, and follow work on a repository.

Issues are repository-owned work items with public-safe discussion and a richer internal workflow in Coline.

Public participation

Signed-in people can report, comment, react, and follow Issues on public repositories without joining the repository owner's workspace.

Maintainers control triage fields, locking, pinning, relationships, and repository Issue settings. Assignment remains on the workspace-facing Coline surface because the public forge does not expose the private member directory.

Privacy boundary

The public Issue contract excludes task-board identifiers, internal workflow objects, workspace-only comments, and private member data.

References

Use #123 in repository discussion to reference another Issue in the same repository. Issue history records meaningful state and moderation events.
